MADISON, NJ—High school juniors and seniors with an interest in collegiate athletics are invited to Drew University’s 36 Madison Avenue campus for an open house beginning at 9:00 a.m. on February 3. The day’s events, which will be held in the school’s William E. and Carol G. Simon Forum and Athletic Center, will focus on the athletic and academic opportunities offered by Drew’s College of Liberal Arts. The schedule of events includes:

Drew University is a Division III member of the National Collegiate Athletics Association. Beginning in the fall of 2007, Drew’s varsity teams will compete in the newly-formed Landmark Conference. The conference’s member institutions have similar educational philosophies that focus on high academic standards, and a belief that athletics are an important component of the undergraduate experience. Drew’s athletics department subscribes to an equity model that consistently yields a fair distribution of resources among the university’s 19 teams.
